Homework
Homework is a very important part of 5th grade and an extension of what was taught that day at school. Your students should be able to complete most of their work on their own. Please let me know if there is ever a time when your student is taking more than an hour and we will address the questions or problem in school.
Reading~ Students will read 20 minutes 5 times a week. Please sign their adgenda.
Spelling~ The main spelling page will be given on Monday. The test will be the following Monday. Please have your students refer to the “Spelling Tasks” they have been given in class.
Math~ Students should have math homework daily. Examples will be found in the notes or classwork from that day in the math section of the binder. It is very important that the kids bring all materials back to class the next day.
Social Studies/Science~ Will include projects, and can change.
AG~ Make sure to keep up with your assigned homework from Mrs. Alberdi
Students are responsible for writing down the assigned homework in the agenda. Please sign the agenda ONLY if they have written down the homework.
