3 weeks until Track Out!

~It is amazing how fast the time has gone by.  We have three weeks of school before the quarter ends.  We are going to continue working full steam ahead right up until September 4.  The kids have done an outstanding job transitioning into the 5th grade.

~Writing-we are working on writing a Persuasive Essay

~Math-we just finished up area and perimeter (practice is still needed), please make sure your student is reviewing notes each night in addition to the assigned math pages.

~Reading-CROP-QV project is due August 24

~Science-The kids have finished the Landforms Unit, they really enjoyed the many hands on activities we did throughout the first 4 weeks.

~Social Studies-we are going to continue our study of maps, along with Native Americans and the Colonies.
